Hello, I am Maureen Horton. I have chosen to run for office for a second term as your Treasurer. I have been in Gallatin County for well over 20 years. I know that does not make me a local yet I am trying. At this time my daughters have been schooled here and one works in the area the other is in Butte. We have all loved this area for a long time, floating the river, blue moon over the Mountains, black dog beer, and Gushers Pizza in West. Things have changed along the way; we needed to slow down Huffine and that second exit off the highway in Belgrade is sure nice. I must call out my favorite dives, Hideaway (wings), Eagles (Sunday big band) , and the Crystal. This area has so much to do, the food trucks, music scene and our great home town feel, we all can still get to the Friday night foot ball games, Legion Baseball and don't forget to support your local Bobcats.
